The following 3 documents are the result of surveys into government, industry and academia in search of tools, software or approaches that could be applied to the field of space transportation operations development, assessment, analysis or estimation of costs and turnaround time. Does the aerospace and space transportation community need to invent new operations analysis tools or are tools available from other applications in other industries? The unique issues of space transportation operations estimation, especially at conceptual phases of design and development decision making, surface immediately as a common theme in such surveys into what is available within and outside of the aerospace community.
